There are practical people in life and ministry who could fall into a certain kind of pride. They tend to look down on others who have less activity or practical ministry. This might be called the pride of action-orientedness.
Pride of activity and practical schedules could cause someone to judge or look down on those who have different gifting such as deeper relational connections or mental activity.
The work on truth is intellectual. It is cognitive. It starts with the mind and dwells in the mind. The mind is the palace of the soul. The Christian work is primarily a mind work. [Romans 12:2]
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (II Cor. 10:5).
